manus speculo- "glass hands" - 2018
My professor, Boyhun Yoon, was offered a performance space at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in April 2018 for the opening of Sound & Vision, He decided to share that opportunity with our Glass & Sound class. Our objective was to create instruments that would be groundbreaking and new in music, with glass that would be groundbreaking and new in that field as well. Luckily, I was in good company, and my class of twelve performed in collaboration with VCU’s Percussion Department, led by Dr. Justin Alexander, in Philadelphia at the National Liberty Museum and again in Richmond at the Singleton Center in April 2018.
