people based objects

“People Based Objects” is an ongoing series of projects by Erin M. Cross, in which a random stranger is asked to participate in a one-on-one, fifteen question interview with the artist. The subjects are interviewed as a loaf of bread bakes. Each loaf is made from the same starter. The bread is broken.

The 15 questions remain the same, and they are as follows:

What are your values?
What do you value?
What do you want?
What do you do for comfort?
What makes a good person?
What makes you excited?
What makes you angry?
Who is important? What is important?
What do you realize that you wish you knew earlier?
What defines Community? Who defines community?
What is the worst reality of modern day?
What is the best reality of modern day?
When is it OK to lie?
What is universal?
Who are you?
